When Healing Feels Slow: What to Do When You Hit a Wall
If you're on a journey to reverse your chronic pain naturally, chances are—you’ll hit a roadblock at some point.
Maybe you’re doing everything “right”: eating the right foods, moving your body, managing your stress… but the results just aren’t coming fast enough.
I get it.I’ve been there myself—and I want you to know this is completely normal.
Healing, especially deep healing, isn’t always a straight line. And it certainly doesn’t happen overnight.
But if you’re feeling stuck or discouraged, here are a few things I urge you to consider:
.

1. Don’t Beat Yourself Up
Frustration is a natural part of any transformation. When I feel myself losing momentum in any area of life, I pause and ask myself three powerful questions:
Why am I doing this?
Is this reason strong enough to keep going?
Am I willing to push through the discomfort and delays to reach my goal?
If my answers are rooted in purpose and passion, my frustration often transforms into determination.
So—give yourself some grace. You’re doing something courageous. And it’s okay if it’s hard sometimes.
2. Are You Trying to Do Too Much at Once?
Reversing chronic pain naturally involves many moving parts—diet, exercise, mindset, rest, daily habits… and yes, it can feel overwhelming.
When I work with clients, we never tackle everything at once. We prioritize the area that will make the biggest impact for that individual.
For some, that means starting with food. For others, it’s stress or movement. Once that area becomes more manageable and starts creating results, we build from there—step by step.
Sustainable healing is built one layer at a time.
So if you're feeling overwhelmed, give yourself permission to slow down. Focus on one area. Let it become second nature. Then move on to the next.
3. Celebrate Every Win
Yes—every single one.
Progress doesn’t have to be massive to matter. Maybe your sleep is a little better. Maybe your joints ache less in the morning. Maybe your mood is just a little more hopeful.
Celebrate it. Write it down. Tick it off your progress chart. Treat yourself to something that supports your healing—a spa day, a walk in nature, a nourishing meal, or even one of my at-home spa rituals.
Every time you celebrate a win, you build momentum. You remind yourself: “This is working. I’m on the right track.”
Healing Is Not Always Linear
There were many moments in my own journey when I felt stuck, frustrated, and tempted to give up. But the vision I had for a pain-free, full, and vibrant life was so strong—I knew I couldn’t turn back.
If your “why” is strong enough…If you know, deep down, that natural healing is the right path for you…
Then trust that the results will come.
